VDA playing newbies this week? If so, expect a blood bath. 5 straight L's for the mighty Union, FVU is gonna be better though, right?
ML listening to parents and it’s killing the team. The girls deserve better than that.
Finally someone said it. At Jeff Cup this team beat teams twice as good as the teams they lost to since. They have the talent to play much better than the recent results.
With MV taking over the FVU10s next year. The side deals with parents will end. Enjoy!
That is the hope going into next season for the girls 2011s and 2010s. If they don't change their ways where everyone plays equally and this results in losses, top talent will be leaving. Right now these parents are watching what happens next season and hoping that the co-coaches from Braves will put the lid on this non-sense. Its not possible to develop everyone. Especially, players that were not selected based on merit and are in the team due to their connections. In MD, Bethesda is the best program to make it to the ECNL playoffs due the way they run their program. In Northern Virginia, if you check the standings, its always two teams that make it consistently to the playoffs in High School. So those two teams in high school will end up with most of the top talent. If FVU is not one of the two teams, then most of the top talent will leave to the playoff bound teams. Most parents whose kids are top talent with no inside track to specific colleges want an ROI and will move on.
