I generally agree with the above poster about the natural cycle of things. But the 2018s were just an extraordinary class. EHS loses the best player they’ve ever had. Landon loses the number one recruit in the country and a “supporting cast” that includes a Michigan and Terp recruit. Sssa graduates all 3 of their fantastic goalies, not to mention most of their offense. St Albans loses their entire defense and the offensive players who made things happen. Not a Prep or Bullis booster. But I think Prep retains the best in class 2019s, and Bullis still has the first in class 2019. It’ll be a 2 horse race for the top of the IAC.
Well said regarding how exceptional this 2018 class was. Epstein who has started for Landon since day , shattered Landon's all time goals and assists record by a wide margin (not an easy task given the number of players who have come out of that program). Jack Myers from Gonzaga has started for the Eagles since he was a freshman and became the Purple Eagles all time goal scorer. If Bullis can keep their team in-tact they will be the clear cut favorite to not only win the IAC next Spring but be a top 10 national team. Not sold on the Lil Hoyas, as someone pointed out earlier, they lose their top 2 point producers who have started for GP since they were sophomores. IAC second place will be up for grabs.
