There are plenty of terrible students (but great kids) that would love to get into Stony Brook or UNC or Maryland or other schools you don't find acceptable for your kids. Those kids should not be judged harshly because they "leveraged" their lacrosse into a school that was good for them but not good for your family or your higher standards. There is a place for everyone, and just because your kid gets into what you consider a better school doesn't mean they will be more successful. Give all of these kids credit for achieving their own goals.[/quote]
