I volunteered for this campaign (phone calls & texting from MD) and to even collect signatures, the organizers had to use clandestine tactics. So happy for the people of Missouri!

The Democratic Party all but abandoned MO, and most “red” states. They weren’t always red. MO had long history of progressive politics. But Dems let GOP overtake state and local governments and now everyone is paying the price. I volunteer to recruit folks to run as Dems in these neglected areas. It will take time to rebuild. FWIW the don't fundraise through Act Blue or sell your info. For sister org, Blue Ohio, I get 1 email per week at most.[/quote]
