Agree - its pretty amusing to think a top player would actually chose not to play for Capital if she were good enough to make it.  I suspect the kids who are "self-selecting" not to try out are doing so because they are more "self-aware" and know they aren't good enough to make Capital.  There are top girls in the DC area who choose not to play for Capital but they play for a top Baltimore team then (Skywalkers or M&D) not a second tier club like Cardinal.  Cardinal is a great program but its not for top tier high school lacrosse players.[/quote]
