Yep, here's a sampling of their girls coaches ... 
One, who is a 2-time HS girls coach of the year.
One who is a noted former D3 women's college coach 
One who previously helped win 2 ECNL national titles as a player for Hawks

None of those three resumes mean they can coach youth girls soccer at a high level and be successful. One of the parents on my daughter‘s team played for the US national team. There’s no way she could coach the team. We have another parent that used to be a college coach and there is no way he could coach the team.[/quote]

Did you seriously just say that a 2x HS COACH of the year and a noted D3 college COACH won't know how to handle youth players? The player, sure, level of play doesn't mean you can coach but 2 very successful coaches.....really...[/quote]

The high school coach of the year doesn’t really impress. High school soccer is all about having the best players. There’s no development or serious tactics if you just have a really good roster. We just had a district coach of the year win the award for the third time but was an unsuccessful second team club coach.[/quote]

But nobody is making that argument. These resumes are being discussed because of some Michigan Hawks versus Michigan wolves post earlier in this thread. Nobody actually cares about Michigan anyways. This is a Washington DC board.[/quote]
