When the paramedics arrived, was the little girl still in the basement all by herself!?
Right??? I want to know this to, I cannot believe these disgusting people had the girl locked (I presume she was locked because otherwise wouldn't she have been curious about why they left her there for so long?) in the basement while they were dong this. It's the most horrific part of it all, IMO.
Killing 2 people in cold blood is pretty horrific too, imho. What was any of it even for? Thrill kills? They were arrested and will go away for a very long time. They were already carrying on prior, trips together, etc. And then you've got TB, defo OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW BETTER, witness tampering while being recorded in FFX jail. Maybe all 3 are so dumb they thought the'd get away with it. Almost no one does. And that BB has been talking about doing this for years takes the cake. What a silver tongued devil he is. Joe, Christine, little girl with no mom, Joe's mom, you all deserved so much better.
They have to be psychos. A divorce would be so much easier for them, and sparing all the innocents.
He didn't want to split the money. He did not make all that much at IRS. 1/2 assets might not have appealed as much to AP, looking for the good life in US. BB had been thinking about this for YEARS and told another affair partner how it would be easier if Christine was not around. This was about control and dominance and resentment toward CB. Joe was wrong place, wrong time, rando patsy ordered up on the internet.
The bolded doesn't make complete sense to me because I'm sure he needed CB's income as a nurse (likely higher than his) to help pay for the mortgage on their expensive home. Unless she had a life insurance policy that would pay off some or all of the mortgage upon her death, how would he be able to continue paying off the mortgage on just his salary? They are/were only in their 30s I believe so couldn't have had a lot of shared assets to split. More likely he didn't want to pay alimony and/or child support and have to go through the hassle of a divorce and shared custody.
He made it work financially after brutally killing her, no? Was living in the home when arrested. Details to come in February. He did not want to give up the house and get a condo. He wanted to erase her from the picture, with the rest of his life unchanged. He had talked about it with an affair partner even before JPM.
