There's plenty to be done, but not just by police... "The per capita rate of officers being feloniously killed is 45 times higher than the rate at which unarmed black males are killed by cops. And an officer’s chance of getting killed by a black assailant is 18.5 times higher than the chance of an unarmed black getting killed by a cop." http://www.washingtonpost.com/amphtml/news/volokh-conspiracy/wp/2016/07/19/academic-research-on-police-shootings-and-race/?client=safari
This makes me so sad. Yet the lives of police don't matter. If the police seen someone reaching for a gun what would you like them to do? Wait until the suspect fires the first shot? You all realize there are millions of interactions by police officers every single day. They put their life on the line to keep you safe. They encounter the worst humanity has to offer. And you are going to judge them and call them racist murderers because they shoot a man pointing a gun at them? I just don't get it. I feel like you are all falling for political brainwashing and it is taking the focus off of real actual issues that need to be dealt with to help the lives of impoverished people in America. Because there are people out there that want to keep poor people poor and keep racism alive. Think about that.
