^^ PP wants us all to understand and accept that the kid's father is some kind of evil subversive man but then runs away the minute someone asks a question....
Very typical of that poster. She constantly makes vague allegations and then tells you to do your own research. But, I probably sound defensive according to some of the above posters.
I am not home. You know damn well this guy did not burn a Kiran. Stop being, well, you. I said he was a strong activist re: the FL minister who burned the Koran. In addition, he's running for office in Sudan. That's part of it. The WaPo discussed this. You are not that ill-informed.
It is intellectually lazy to insinuate what you cannot accurately convey yourself. More often than not, it is a sign that the speaker is not really in control of their facts, that they vaguely recall something.
Or that I read the response when I was at my son's school dropping him off and had to actually drive again rather than text more?
Now that you appear to be home, can you explain what is wrong with Ahmed father's activism with supporting evidence?
I've already done so. The American Thinker link provides information and references. Please go back and read that article and look at my other posts in this thread, and then ask me to clarify what you don't understand.
Here is what that article says about Ahmed's father: "Ahmed’s father (well-connected to Moslem activists)" That is your documentation of the father's activism? Do you really expect to be taken seriously? That doesn't even claim the father is an activist, but that he is only well-connected to them. As usual, you are completely unable to support the BS that you spread here.
I suggest you go back and read the thread from where you started your accusations to this point. Are you denying that ElHassan went to Fl. to debate the minister? Is that what you want me to document? This is your usual schtick. Get a new one.
So, he went to Florida to debate a minister? That is an indication of what? What is wrong with that? That is one activity. It's hardly the indication of any sort of serious activism, particularly activism that should draw suspicion. The guy who he was debating was burning Qurans. That's much more controversial then someone defending their holy book. If this is your evidence that the father is an activist and should be considered suspicious, it is beyond weak.
Dictionary definition of activist: "Someone who's actively involved in a protest or a political or social cause can be called an activist" So yes, standing up and debating the minister is, in fact, being an activist for Islam. So like the minister, he has shown he has an agenda. What are the odds his son would be the one tapped? Now add to this the quick involvement of Cair, the silence from the school administration, the statements from the father that his son was 'tortured' (interesting choice of words...) and other strong statements like it That's ignoring the father's running for office twice in his home country and that he's a strong religious presence in Irving. None of this is wrong, but it does make him an activist - and capable of exploiting a situation. Whether he actually orchestrated it or took advantage of it remains to be seen.
