Glad you stepped up and acknowledged your inconsiderate snobbery. Incorrect that I am defending my son. Glad to defend two boys who are great young men and who will make STA proud. Do not buy for a second that the "disappointment" related to IU is not disparaging of the two boys. Sometimes, you folks just can't get away with saying it is "not about the young men." The college decision made by kids of this age is the biggest one they have made to date. To say it is somehow disappointing is incredibly callous and elitist. Shame on you folks who put down the school choice and by extension the boys themselves.
WTF are you talking about, you continue to harp on about these young men. No one has said a negative word about them. Get a grip, why can't the pp who posted that he's disappointed be allowed to do so, that is the point of this thread. And to be honest, I don't know anyone who went through the entire independent school process (from wppsi-SATs) with the dream/goal of their son ultimately graduating from STA and choosing to matriculate at Indiana-Bloomington. It's a great thing that they're venturing out and taking a different path, doesn't that make them leaders?
