The nukes are really just abstract (unless used), but oil really is the way Iran floats itself financially, and it’s totally exposed. I would take out 10% immediately, just as a shot across the bow. Saudi and US could easily replace Iran’s output.
Yes and Iran will hit Israel oil….oh wait Israel does not produce anything but terrorism.
Iran can’t hit anything, their AF sucks and Iron Dome.
There are videos of Tel Aviv being hit?
Debris from missile intercepts.
You aren't seeing the videos. There are definitely Iranian missiles making it through the Iron Dome. [twitter]https://x.com/SanaSaeed/status/1933592180184006762[/twitter]
The difference is that Israel targeted military targets and Iran targeted civilians. Typical for terrorists.
Glad you agree Israel’s targeting of Palestinian civilians is typical terrorist behavior.
I'm seeing videos of injured and dead children in Tehran. Israel just can't help themselves when it comes to killing civilians especially women and children. They convince everyone it's a military operation but when they have the opportunity to kill a few children along the way, they begin salivating.
Sure you are. Iran also claims they shot down 2 Israel planes. They didn’t. Propaganda from Iran.
Well Iran is the victims of the radical extremists.
So is Israel and the U.S.
I’d rather live in the us or Israel than Iran…
And this validates war, how? Culture wars are a waste of time and money. May as well burn a trillion dollars to the ground now
It doesn’t validate war. But Iran has a nuclear program and won’t strike a deal. I prefer a diplomatic solution but in absence of that, what is supposed to be done? Us doesn’t want to invade so Israel is taking care of it or at least starting it.
Also, the post was that dcum keeps fawning over Hamas, the Iranians and Palestinians as if they’re all victims. They’re not all equal and many certainly are not victims. You can disagree with Israel’s politics and also realize Iran must be neutralized.
If nuclear capability was really the problem Israel has with Iran, the Obama deal would’ve appeased them but it did not. When will they admit this has nothing to do with weapons and Irans vocal and moral support for Palestinians? Just like an abusive husband, Ksrael wants Palestinians to have no friend or champion or ally in their own region of brethren to keep them completely demoralized and hopeless. Notice the Zionists brag here about the Palestinians Arab neighbors not helping them out. They are so abusive and toxic. It’s mental form of demoralisation they want to crush Palestinians with and Iran is a foil to that because just like Saddam Hussein, they never stopped bringing up the Palestinian cause. In Saudi Arabia, praying for Palestine is banned and so is raising the Palestinian flag. This in the supposed to be homeland of Islam. Iran is the only one there not controlled or blackmailed by Israel and Israel hates that Iran is holding the flag and championing the Palestinian cause
Israel opposed the Iran nuclear deal because it only delayed Iran getting a nuclear weapon, and they knew they’d eventually have to deal with the underlying problem, which is that Iran - an oppressive regime that is despised within its own country btw - wants to annihilate Israel and was building the weapons to do so. America does not want Iran to have nuclear weapons nor did any president want to start another war in the Middle East on their watch, so they all tried diplomacy as long as possible (until Trump threw the deal away during his first term.) Iran has been reaching near appropriate thresholds for nuclear weapons as well as the long range missiles to deliver them. Even the UN who is so pro Palestinian and Arab admits that Iran has not been compliant with their nuclear obligations. You just seem hell bent on blaming Israel for everything, no matter who the enemy is, so it’s impossible to have an actual dialogue about this. Nobody wants Iran to have nuclear weapons, except the useful idiots on dcum who can’t see past their hatred of Israel. Bibi might have done this because the issue is more pressing for Israel than the us, he wants to drag the us into this war, or he just saw the opportunity in Iran and with a weak president like Trump. But make no mistake that it benefits the US to get rid of Iran’s nuclear capacities - that is, if Netanyahu can even do that without the US getting (more) involved. But again, no point in attempting a meaningful conversation on this topic with idiots who are so blinded by their hatred of Israel and Jews.
Israel attacked Iran because they view Iran as a regional power. It is not about nuclear weapons, it is not about terrorism, it is not about Iran’s support Palestinians, etc. Bibi has wanted to attack Iran for years and years. Before Iran to was Iraq. Iran is just the next one up for the Israelis. After Iran(don’t think Israel will beat Iran- too big and too far away), the next country Israel will attack is Turkey. They have already started the propaganda process.
It’s about their survival. As was iraq. Iraq, like Iran, had a nuclear weapon program and the UN had flagged concerns about their non compliance along with biological and chemical weapons in the years leading up to the invasion. We can question how much the US needs to be involved in these matters to maintain stability and how much our best interests align with Israel’s (which is fairly straightforward given our dependence on middle eastern oil supply), but it seems pretty obvious why Israel wouldn’t want countries that want to annihilate them to have nuclear weapons. Israel’s current right wing leadership is doing it no favors, but overall the country is the most western, stable and least radical in a region teaming with radical Islam, unstable governing infrastructure, corruption, civil wars and terrorism. Israel is fighting radicalism on every border and more broadly in the region. Do the wars seem unpleasant and tragic? Yes. Is Israel’s right wing also permitting upsetting settler action in the west bank? Yes. The truth is nuanced - Israel is not a perfect country and like the US, has been badly damaged by extreme right leadership, but it’s still the most stable one in the region.
I thought Iraq was about oil and US national security interests. You’re admitting that was about Israel’s interests? Throughout the “trial”, Saddam Hussein kept blasting Israel verbally instead of the US government who killed his sons and grandson. Ar the time, everyone thought was crackpot antisemite behavior but he was really addressing the real president and government all along.
