There are NOT plenty of teachers actually willing to teach. I know many *former* teachers who will never set foot in a classroom again. Yes, there is a shortage of willing teachers in almost every discipline right now. As I said above: we can’t staff our English department. The workload leads to the highest turnover in the school.
