If you think a woman is equal to a man in combat, you are mistaken. - a female Vet who was attached to both Infantry and Armor units in combat.

We aren’t. At all. We put people in danger and don’t have the physical strength to be effective in combat. There are jobs in the military women can be effective at, but fighting in combat is not one of them. [/quote]

Another woman veteran who agrees.  People just don’t understand what the military asks of you haven’t served.  While “in combat” is a loose term because all military members could be in a combat situation when deployed, in any job, there are certain jobs in the military that should be closed to women for the benefit of everyone.  But there are many fields within the military where women are effective and do the job well. Men and women aren’t equal.  We just aren’t. [/quote]
