Chris Brown was arrested, charged and plead guilty. He had to serve community service in Richmond with regular people (like picking up trash). At the time he claimed he had anger issues from watching his stepfather beat his mother as a child (which was corroborated, but doesn't ever excuse his behavior).

He has had other violent interactions with men and press, but [b]I do not believe his pattern with women continued after Rihanna.[/b] I am not making excuses for Chris Brown, and I am not   fan of his, but I don't think he is anywhere along the same lines as Jay Z and Combs. I definitely think Jay Z knew.
