That is EXACTLY what the area around the Verizon Center/Chinatown was like when I moved to DC in the early 90s. F Street was a pedestrian mall full of crackheads and their dealers. The restaurants down there are driven by office traffic and the Verizon Center. Office traffic has dropped by 2/3 due to WFH. Now this. [/quote]
