Where and how do all these women change clothes for the after parties? Logistical issues….
They camp out at hotels nearby with their teams. More fun facts: those hotels have these "gifting suites" where celebs and/or their assistants can go and get free stuff from different brands -- skin care and fancy water and luxury robes and slippers to relax in while they get ready. It used to be all about getting brows and facials done, and it's still a lot of that, but it's also about getting procedures done and timing them just right so that your skin isn't red or irritated day of. I've also heard of celebs getting massages daily for two weeks before the event in order to keep their bodies relaxed and comfortable for posing and wearing all the clothes and shoes which can be uncomfortable. It's like athletes preparing for the Olympics -- daily workouts, strict diets, cosmetic procedures, a strict sleep schedule, etc. So much goes into it. It would be interesting to follow a regimen like this, like whatever an Oscar nominee does for the month prior to the ceremony, on your own and see how much better you look. I bet you'd look amazing, regardless of how you look now. Like I bet you'd be shocked at how good you could look even without major weight loss or plastic surgery, just from doing nothing but optimizing your appearance every day for a month.
