Pitt is making big moves, sold 60% of Plan B for many millions now listing the long-time family home for ~40 million. Guess he's ready to move on, talking about moving between Carmel, France, and LA (smaller place). https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-11646405/Brad-Pitt-quietly-puts-Los-Feliz-compound-market-40-million.html Probably healthy to move on from the family home, incredibly sad none of his children seem to want to have a relationship with him. I think what happened on the plane is truly awful, but it seems he got sober and wanted to rebuild things with the kids. If he is sober and well now, and was described as a model father for many years, why can't he be forgiven? Again I get Jolie not wanting to have anything to do with him when he wouldn't return her chateau investment etc., and kids tending to side with their mother, but doesn't this seem very extreme? Anyway, I've said all along he'll move on to a "new" family at some point, with a subordinate wife or partner who places few demands on him.
The kids are still pretty young. Sure, one of them went to college for a little while but subtract 2 years of maturity due to the pandemic and they're all still very young. These kids in particular, due to their unusual upbringing, will side with their mother. Initially. In time, as they grow up and have families of their own, that will change. But Pitt will never get to be a normal father of young children, that was never in the cards with Jolie.
Well he wanted unconventional and exciting, and this was the result. I agree with PP he'll probably more on to a second family with a more conventional family life. Men can do that of course. I assume he's making these big sales in preparation for a final financial settlement with Jolie, including the chateau dispute. Maybe that will ease tensions all the way around, but I really don't blame her for being furious he felt entitled to hold onto her investment which I guess represented the bulk of her wealth with little direct profit.
