Do you care to share more?[/quote] Don't want to derail but we had an unknown father a few generations back, I did some research and dna tests, found some relatives, identified the likely ancestor. Turned out he lived just a few blocks from the female ancestor. I do wonder if they dated (he was married), if my ancestor was a prostitute, or if she was a victim of an attack. Or a drunken anonymous hook up? We will never know. Everyone who knew anything went to their graves without divulging anything despite being begged to tell in probably the 1980s? when it hardly mattered anymore but they wouldn't tell. [/quote]
