[/quote] Burying head in the sand and saying the building has not completely collapsed yet (even while foundations are crumbling) is not a great strategy … Large numbers of people are not able able to pay off college debts/ interest and many still have college debts into their senior years. Many young people are deferring getting married and having children because they have to pay off their college debts - and that is if they finish and get decent jobs. It is connected to the college reputation arms race and they are not separate issues. [/quote]
