I am the PP from above who reports posts and I agree with this. I feel like I am reporting racist, sexist, etc. posts more frequently than I used to. Plus just plain mean ones.

And I can't stand the over-sensitive types who confuse the straightforward truth with "being nasty."

There was a poster describing that her husband hides his phone, travels for work often with little details shared, etc. I asked IF she thought he MIGHT be cheating, and several people called me nasty, rude, etc. Oh, OK.

Or I had the audacity to suggest once that a lifelong grandparent relationship is different than that of a step grandparent relationship with older kids that started three years ago. That mere statement of facts was labeled rude, mean, etc. I hardly think it's rude to mention a pretty straightforward fact.[/quote]
