Why has no one explained EXACTLY what’s happening on October 1st to suddenly make teachers okay with 5 days week in person school at Burgundy? Are teachers on board to start school in person in 3 weeks? That is definitely the impression the administration is giving, and if it isn’t likely to happen they need to backtrack or they are seriously going to lose 50%+ of enrollment for the 2021-2022 school year. We will be out the door along with most families we know.
It’s a total farce. No one has explained it because they can’t. They had to stall for time once teachers refused to work. As the “give teachers some grace” poster pointed out, teachers made a “hard decision” because they are “high risk.” If they are high risk now they will still be high risk in October. Not a thing will change and the admin will keep kicking the can and stringing families along for the rest of the year because that’s how they will ensure tuition payments keep coming in. Mark my words. They are lying to us.
