They themselves are high risk or have family members who are high risk. These teachers are heroes during a normal school year but they are not given hazard pay. Unlike the Navy, they did not sign up knowing there was a possibility they would die. Again, I understand your position and I feel for you. We are fortunate that remote learning works for our family.
