Testing has been pitiful in this area. This is a metro area with lots of international visitors. The numbers are way too low. Virginia Hospital Center is testing some people. How come other major hospitals in the area aren’t? Lack of tests?[/quote] It’s doctor dependent. I ordered COVID19 tests on everyone I admitted with a fever. Other docs only tested people who met the CDC guidelines. I don’t know how many tests we have, but I didn’t get any pushback with ordering tests, so it seems like we have plenty at the moment.
