I get that you are young. You are also an adult now. Thinking about things, or just being passionate about them without actually educating yourself, is not enough. It's actually disrespectful to the topic, if you care about it.

If you want to argue with people about law and policy, know what the laws under discussion actually say.

If you want to argue with people about medical or other science matters, know what the actual outcomes are.

If you want to argue with people about literature, then actually read the texts.

When I was young, all I had was feeling strongly about things. My friends and I used that as a substitute for actual knowledge. You can do better than I did.
