ICe is totally causing all of this. They are purporsfully escalating and causing mayhem and violence. Only the most devout MAGAs share your perspective. And the fact is, at this point we are getting close to 70% of the country opposing ICE and Trump.[/quote]

May, 2016. CNN does a segment entitled "A Day with ICE in a so-called Sanctuary City."

CNN literally rode around with ICE from the break of dawn until nighttime, watching while ICE conducted raids and arrested illegals. ICE arrested some right at their jobs.

CNN was not criticizing ICE. They were celebrating ICE. It was "exclusive access" during the Obama years and CNN considered it a privilege to get to watch ICE work.

ICE even made a "mistake" arrest. CNN had no problem with it.

Those agents aren’t masked. They were also targeting 3 individuals with a history of legal infractions. They weren’t doing sweeps of areas hoping to catch someone in their net. They weren’t stopping people and demanding proof of citizenship or legal status based on their skin color or accent.[/quote]

1.  They are not masked because their lives are not at risk by out of control liberals because....... it is the Obama administration.  
2.  ICE targets aliens with legal infractions.  Have you not seen the list of hundreds of arrests made in Minnesota?  Rapists, murderers, pedophiles - all have been released onto the street by the Walz administration because...... MN is a sanctuary state. 
3.  ICE does not do "sweeps" as you call it.  They have specific targets.  If illegal aliens who have not committed a crime are found while they are pursuing their target, they are arrested too.

1. ICE has never worn masks before this administration. They did not wear them even during the first Trump administration. The choice to do so now is a deliberate policy decision intended to intimidate communities.
2. The overwhelming majority of people ICE has detained and deported since 2025 are people with no criminal history. This is well documented. Immigrants with no criminal background are the majority of detainees now and make up 92% of the growth in detentions over the past year. In other words, ICE is NOT arresting more criminals to any significant degree.
3. ICE does do sweeps. Every day there are countless examples of people being approached on the street and demanded to present papers because they “look” like an immigrant. Even the administration has framed ICE’s actions as sweeps.
4. All you have to say is that the above is a lie? There is a literal Supreme Court opinion in which Justice Kavanaugh sanctioned this very activity. The fact these random stops are occurring is why there was a lawsuit and why it reached the Supreme Court.[/quote]

Is your brain broken? None of this disproves the fact that the majority of people detained and deported have no criminal history. The fact that SOME do is not proof that MOST do. There’s also no evidence from that page that the number of criminal arrests has gone up. It’s not even clear the people listed were all arrested this past year.

Many of those arrested had final deportation orders, but failed to leave.  They needed to be picked up since they failed to leave on their own.

Once again, nothing you’ve shared refutes the fact that the majority of ICE detainees have no criminal record. And pointing to tweets that show random examples of detainees who do have criminal convictions is not evidence that MOST detainees do. This is basic logic.[/quote]
