And it uncovered a bigger issue. Logistics. The US military was the king of logistics. This 9 day war against a country but not a near peer has show of logistics are incapable of being sustained over a long period of time. The weapon systems are extremely expensive, cannot be replaced quickly and have only been tested against third world paramilitaries.

What happens if a two or three front war opens up? If China takes Taiwan, North Korea invade South Korea and Russia invades Poland or the Baltic states at the same time? Can the US logistics function? [/quote]

Historically, logistics is what wins wars. Hegseth and his ilk think it's manliness and big guns and have slashed infrastructure and logistics.
