Adoptive family lost to him and they gave up the fight . You can't STEAL other people's kids. [/quote] Actually you can legally steal other people's kids. This happens more often than people realize. Dad was just lucky to have the Indian status to fight this. Otherwise, he would have been out of luck. People buy kids every day, both here and internationally. There are no universal state or federal laws so the few laws in place are rarely followed and those like the Capobianos find easy ways to adopt, regardless of the ethics. They don't care about ethics and doing the right thing.[/quote]
