We wouldn't be friends.  I'm a SAHM (youngest in 2nd grade but SN and requires lots of care and has alternate school hours).  One child is allergic to pesticides so we go with organic produce.  We eat organic grass fed beef, from local farms, because they have better lives (pre-slaughter) and are not full of corn, soy, and antibiotics.  Another list of things that child is allergic to.  Lastly, we don't wear shoes in the house because I know the list of disgusting places my kids have been.  The woods, the lake, the duck pond, near goose shit and all other kinds of scat. I don't want those in my house or on my clean floors.

I know I have special reasons for the first two but most people don't know them.  My SN child "looks" normal and most people wouldn't guess the enormous amount of issues involved or the amount of work I put into making him somewhat functional.[/quote]
