What do you mean by "what happens with Skyview"? They need to set the Skyview boundaries ASAP.

I think they are suggesting waiting to see what the future enrollments at all the schools in the area look like after some students opt in to Skyview before moving forward with any boundary changes.

I don’t agree with this, but it’s what I think they’re suggesting.  I don’t agree with it because Chantilly wouldn’t get enough relief and it would just delay Skyview becoming a neighborhood high school.  [/quote]

I disagree.  Though, admittedly, I don't understand how they could possibly continue without firm boundaries for Skyview.  They are creating more confusion with this.

1. Set boundaries for Skyview.
2. Maybe wait to see how the numbers fall out next year for the other schools before shifting any to Westfield.  There is a lot of new construction there, and maybe they don't need as many as some seem to think.

Any sensible boundaries for Skyview (1) pull a lot of kids out of Westfield and (2) require steps to add kids there from other schools well before any new construction would yield significant numbers of new students at Westfield.
