I mean it’s the usual suspects on here. There are teachers and Gatehouse staff on here. They hate parents, students, the school board, other teachers and staff, and basically everyone. They reflexively come out against anything parents want. Parents want fewer random days off and no more 3 hour early releases - therefore the random days and the 3 hour early releases must be good things that must be kept. People I don’t like want to change these things, therefore they must be good and I must fight to keep them.

And of course, not all teachers, there are many (even some who post here) who don’t like the current calendar and who feel that they are always playing chaotic catch-up especially in the winter. I’ve read many helpful teacher posts on here. I’ve also read a lot of reflexive hate for both parents and the students they are supposed to teach … [/quote]
