I had to call several entities: MCdot, Md SHA, my HOA, back to MCdot only to be told that, while it is a county road, it is considered residential. I pleaded, tried to appeal to their sense of safety (elderly neighbors, sick, pregnant neighbors) and attempted my best Karen act (didn't work). Eventually, they made one pass right on the yellow lines, leaving a sheet of pure ice and no salt or sand treatment. This is my (and many others') only way out of the neighborhood. No way a school bus can come down this street.[/quote]
