Side note: the claim about medical errors and deaths is not true, much as the NRA wishes it were https://www.mcgill.ca/oss/article/critical-thinking-health/medical-error-not-third-leading-cause-death
Your link says numbers are inflated but offers no American study that proves their point. It’s just a lot of words with no objective conclusion.
Is this easier for you to follow? https://sciencebasedmedicine.org/are-medical-errors-really-the-third-most-common-cause-of-death-in-the-u-s-2019-edition/
So we agree that doctors kill more people than police each year. That’s what your link confirms.
The link shows that sometimes people in the hospital die, and sometimes those deaths are the result of physician error. That is not the same as "doctors killing people." It doesn't take into account intent or the alternative, for example.
There are about 1,100 deaths by police a year nationwide, and this is in a nation of almost 400,000,000 people. In most of these cases, the deceased was threatening to harm others. Doctors don’t deal with the threat of their patients killing others. The situations are quite different. And statistics being what they are — medicine is more deadly than law enforcement.
