You could clean up the dead fall, which provides an enormous amount of fuel for these wildfires. But that would be destroying nature, so I guess we need to let the tiger eat your face.

Obviously you have some sort of personal crusade against anyone who wants to protect nature but you are tilting at windmills. Your own article does not say anything about not cutting trees because of environmentalist opposition. It says that the trees are inaccessible and not economically viable for harvest by loggers.
