And the audio recordings seem to be from police scanners.[/quote] Yes that is what I listened to as well. The police were talking about workers on the bridge and contacting the foreman when the bridge collapsed. It was all very quick from ..."stop traffic" to "bridge is down" The police must have been right there. I also read that the workers were on a break and most were in their cars (possibly the ones that went down but that is just my guess).[/quote]
