I am a democrat and I am scared shitless for my children and all of us. Trump is going to win that is clear after today. Biden failed by installing Garland and not firing his ass No country in the world allows an active ongoing coup for over 3 years. Trump has given National Secrets to our enemies. He is the Republican party. It is gone forever it is the party of KING TRUMP. Tomorrow is going to be horrific with Hur in at Congress. Project 2025 has already started at the RNC the republican party is not the party of. the Trump Org all monies now flow to Trump to pay his legal bills.Which by the way are being paid by Russia so he is pocketing the monies. If you haven't seen Josh Hawley's new ad go watch it the breathless woman is who they want women to be and they are going to win. And here is why Dems lost. Biden installed Garland who is a treasonous snake, but never removed Wray or Dejoy or Ginni. Garland never arrested one insurrectionist in Congress. Pelosi seated the insurrectionists she did not have to. The plan has been in motion for years the judges installed will destroy this country, they will burn it to the ground for the power and money. The bottom line the US has died and Project 2025 will be instituted and MAGA will cry way more tears than Dems by then or die or be deported and there will be nothing we can do to turn this around. Putin will have boots on the ground by 2026 you god dammed morons. UGH!
Relax, all we need to do is replace Biden with a normal candidate and Trump will be destroyed. You are forgetting how awful and unpopular Trump is in the eyes of a majority of Americans. We can beat him. It won't take the greatest candidate in the history of the country to beat him; just a normal/average candidate.
Who is this mythical dem candidate? Polling suggests Biden is the only one who can beat Trump. If you have an alternative, name them.
Any of our popular state governors would be better options to lead our country through 2029 and the swing voters that matter would jump at the opportunity to vote for a real candidate as opposed to having to choose between Trump or Biden. Swing voters aren't idiots.
There is not a single state governor that could win their own state much less the electoral college. Whatever your agenda, it is not based in reality.
I think Newsome could win Ca but that’s about it. Latest polls would have him trailing Trump by ten. Agree with you - where are these fool proof governors?
Biden is the variable in this equation. You aren't comparing these current Dem governors to Obama 2012 or Clinton 1996. You are comparing them to a very unpopular 81 year old and his even worse counterpart. If we were running a popular Dem governor instead of Biden, they would have no problem securing the votes of the people currently committed to Biden along with many more swing/independent voters than Biden or Trump ever could. The Dem base voters plus a majority of swing/independent voters equal an easy Dem candidate victory. Simple math. To think otherwise would be to ignore or forget how unpopular Trump and Biden are with swing/independent voters. The 2024 election could be a very easy victory for either party willing to somehow dump their elderly unpopular candidate and replace them with a normal candidate. A normal candidate vs Trump or Biden makes for an easy victory for the normal candidate. Instead, we prefer a close race between two unfit candidates?? Crazy town USA
People have refuted your central point so many times, and because you are posting your same point in every thread with a fervor, I’m beginning to assume you’re a paid Republican troll.
Why would a "Republican troll" advocate for a candidate more likely to beat Trump? It is those who question the logic behind doing anything possible to beat Trump that are the ones with the shady agenda. Think. Read.
The agenda is clearly a hail Mary to try to suppress Biden votes. It is is on every single thread all day. By equating Biden to trump they try to weaken Biden. It is monotonous and tiresome and ineffective.
When Biden is officially nominated, we can coalesce behind him because he is actually a better option than Trump. Until then, those of us that are paying attention and know how awful Trump is are going to hope to find a way to replace Biden with a normal candidate so that we are guaranteed of not having a Trump second term. I don't understand why anyone that considers themselves a Democrat or an American for that matter, would oppose the thought of something happening to eliminate Trump's chances of winning. Biden is 81 years old and less than 40% of Americans approve of him. If you think he is "the best we have", you seriously need to have your head checked or you just have no understanding of politics. What you and I think of Biden is meaningless. The perception of all voting Americans is what matters. The perception of the majority is that Biden is a weak candidate and/or they just don't like him for one reason or another. Biden at his age is going to do nothing to change this perception prior to November. For these reasons, us true anti-Trump Americans are going to hope and pray for a better candidate to make sure Trump is defeated. Those candidates are out there. Seriously, which part of this situation is so difficult for you to understand?
As of last night, Biden and Trump both have the required pledged delegates to gain their party's nominations.
That was a foregone conclusion. Now we have until July/August for something, anything to happen that would cause one or both of them not to be able to accept the nominations. 95% chance these are our two major party nominees.
