Biden should have restored all of the Trump and Obama border policies (including deportations) and maintained them for 6 months before a moment of discussion on any border bill.  Anything else, is just rationalizing 3 years of outrageously terrible policy.  [/quote]

Title 42 only applied while the COVID emergency was in effect. Remember how quickly the GOP wanted to end the emergency?

Biden hands are tied unless you want him to take unilateral authoritarian action. I didn;t think that is what we wanted in our leaders. It akes a bi-partisan bill to address the problem. Biden is happy to sign it. Why won't the GOP bring it to the House floor?

There was this thing called COVID happening which required legislation and attention to deal with the health crisis and the economic catastrophe left by Trump. That was the priority, no? Now is the time to deal with immigration and the GOP is failing the task. Just own it, because that is the facts.[/quote]
