She released 1989 when they were together and the vault tracks weren’t about him. In fact many of them were about her processing rejection and taking of clothes with other people. Like I think he knows she’s an artist and that’s part of her package. Like if my DH was an artist it comes with the territory I couldn’t be upset if all he made wasn’t happy lovely work all about us. I think he has a maturity about her work that’s highly respectful. [/quote]

A TV re-release is different from a new album, no? Anyway, I gotta think that by July, the train had left the station with the new album and there was no way to pull it back. I bet that conversation was awkward. I'm not saying he isn't respectful of her work. Just saying that this is the type of stuff he has to deal with. [/quote]
