I'm an immigrant. My social circle is mostly other immigrants because I feel more comfortable around other immigrants, and not necessarily those of my own culture.  I married another immigrant from another culture.[/quote]

Let me discuss further:
Nothing is stopping these men from marrying women from overseas.  I am an immigrant too 
, and many men from my country of origin go back home to marry women from there, because they prefer women from there.

American men prefer American women. Otherwise, they'd marry women from overseas in larger  numbers.

It's one thing to argue that they admire certain qualities in certain foreign women. It's another to argue that they prefer foreign women. They might admire some characteristics in certain foreign women and still prefer the American ones overall.[/quote]
