Fetterman who? Didn’t you hear? The Administration led us out of a technical recession and a soft landing looks more and more likely. That’s all anyone will be talking about for the next two weeks on the campaign trail. Nice try, MAGA. Maybe next time?
Nah. Americans are still feeling the pain. The report that came out is one that looks in the rear view mirror..... a time that Americans are feeling the results of high inflation and skyrocketing heating oil prices. The discussion will continue to be about how to make ends meet.
And what is the GOP plan for that?
Why do MAGAs always skitter away whenever this question is asked?
It has been answered so many times. You choose to ignore. 1. Stop Biden from his out of control spending. Congress holds the purse strings. (Although, we have seen that Biden will go to great lengths to spend without Congress' approval..... Republicans will just have to continue to file lawsuits to stop him). 2. Enact pro-growth and anti-regulatory policies. 3. Force this administration to make America energy independent. It will not be immediate, but they can stop the bleeding until we get an administration that knows how to govern.
So just slogans, no details.
Not only do they not have details, but Biden demonstrably hasn't engaged in out of control spending. He's reduced the deficit! I wonder if PP is aware of how much Trump increased the deficit with his out of control spending. No doubt PP was cheering Trump on while he blew up our budget. "Pro-growth" and "anti-regulatory policies" and energy independence are meaningless buzzwords, though. So, no, PP, you haven't answered what the GOPs plans are. And we all know it's because there aren't any.
Republicans and their anti-education, anti-fact efforts to undermine democracy, and make our country demonstrably dumber, are what started this country in its decline. Facts do not matter. If they see it or says it on social media or Fox, it is their truth. The PP noting "out of controls spending" is a perfect example of this. There have been many studies, reports, etc. showing that this is not the case re: Biden but that the opposite was true for Trump. And the immediate PP is correct, unless you're cutting DOD, Social Sec., Medicare or one of the big entitlement programs everyone depends on . . . YOU ARE NOT REDUCING ANYTHING FISCALLY AT THE FEDERAL LEVEL. But it doesn't matter. They don't care about facts. Truth. Transparency. And they are killing this country.
