I know parents here sometimes feel really free to share their anger, but in person, most parents aren't doing that. I can't speak for everywhere, but where I teach, 98% of our parents are some of the most wonderful humans I've ever met. Teachers in my area are quitting for the following reasons: 1) stupid expectations from central office 2) required to do more and more and more and more 3) sometimes due to student behavior 4) the general exhaustion of this particular work [/quote]
