For lots of reasons: 1) $$$$, 2) they weren't aware it was an option 3) they are convinced their child is a little genius and would run circles around everyone else 4) they think it's cheating 5) school didn't allow it. The reasons vary, you'd have to ask someone why they didn't to get their reasoning.[/quote]
