So the fact that a Boston Brahman like Affleck's mother was not thrilled is not surprising. No one is accepted by everyone. I’m with you.  I’m not a JLo fan or hater, I’m generally neutral on her.  However, the way JLo acts (her SuperBowl halftime act, for example), is NOT classy.  Bringing a string of men through your kids’ lives, including men who have had known drug addictions and frequent prostitute visits, is not classy.  I’m just your regular UMC mom and I would not be excited if my boys brought someone like JLO home.  I don’t care what races or ethnicities they date.  One of my sons has a Hispanic gf and she’s lovely and has way more class than JLo.[/quote]
