At our ES, even if a child left the classroom the doors are locked and you have to go through the main office with 2-3 staff there in order to get out.  You cannot get out directly.  So, either child left during recess or it doesn't make a lot of sense.[/quote]

Where does this "you cannot block doors" come from. I have literally seen the principal and teachers at our ES blocking the main entrance to prevent a kid from leaving.[/quote]
