How embarrassing is it to beat someone 14-0 in a GA league game just to turn around a luckily tie a winless ECNL team. The end of FCV is near. Look for Larry to solidify the FCV-St James - BRYC collaboration l.
LOL!! "Larry solidifying the FCV-BRYC collaboration." Dude, Larry hasn't been at BRYC for almost three years now.
Lol, Dude, maybe you don’t understand connections and relationships. Please follow..... Larry Best, former head at BRYC, is the CEO of Spirit NWSL. Larry hired Richie Burke, the head coach for Spirit NWSL, who is a former FCV coach. Larry also hired Christian Cziommer former owner who sold FCV to St. James. Every wonder why the only club in NOVA FCV will scrimmage is BRYC? Every notice who is the closet ECNL club to the ST James? You do know that Bobby and Christian are employees of the St James, right? Every ask yourself how gyms survive? Memberships! Yes, BRYC is a non-profit. But every member of the club is a future membership.
FCV has scrimmaged Arlington. You also don't understand how jobs actually work. Larry has a full time job with Spirit, he does not have either the time nor care about what his former employer is doing. He is not going to get involved with some merger between FCV and BRYC. Seriously, how often do you check in with your former workplace and offer to help out. And keep in mind, Larry had a DA youth club at Spirit that if he was going to try and create a merger with FCV and was still interested in Youth Soccer he would have tried to do so. He could have merged BRYC, FCV and Spirit into one club. If he didn't do that then he certainly isn't going to negotiate a merger between two clubs, neither of which he is employed by. Keep dreaming on how BRYC can get better though. And one more thing. Even if such a merger were to ever happen, there is no guarantee the players and parents follow along.
