Why are you planning in advance to be a burden to your children in your old age? How about working hard and saving and investing now so you can give your adult children the gift of not having to worry about you as you age?

I'm guessing you've never heard of filial piety and respect for elders?    It's not your fault,  people in the west have long forgotten such things in the pursuit of personal happiness.

If you understand these concepts, you will understand why we invest so much in our kids and care for our own personal family, not strangers who would gladly sacrifice our kids to benefit theirs.
