My son started out at Valor at U9. The offer was not for a specific team. But one potential clue is the timing of the offer. An offer shortly after the first tryout is a sign that your child will probably be on one of the top two teams. We also got a personal email from the lead coach telling us that an offer would be coming. There were a few practices during the month of July, with team placement notification shortly after that. I don’t remember whether we ordered uniforms before or after the team placement. Theoretically you don’t need to wait to find out what team you’re on before ordering the uniform kit.[/quote]

We were clueless about travel soccer back then, but at the time they had at least told us who the coaches were going to be for each team level and how many teams they anticipated having. Not like what they’re apparently doing this year. We learned a lot and are not at Valor anymore.[/quote]
