I thought Trump was supposed to be different than the political staus quo.  He's independently wealthy so he's not beholden to mega donors.  He was supposed to blow up the system and dismantle the deep state.[/quote]

He doesn’t pay for anything if he can get someone else to.

He is a world class grifter (not “businessman”).

He has weaponized the Dept of Justice beyond what anyone ever contemplated in our history.
