The fact that we are emptying the half-filled Strategic Petroleum Reserve just 12 days into this shows how little thought went into launching a war with Iran. And this does nothing about the 20 percent of LNG that goes through the Strait of Hormuz. The rest of the world that depends on this  energy is going to be livid with the US for a very long time.[/quote]

Shit's going to hit the fan fast.  I've been engaged with some staunch anti-West people on another forum and one of them, an Indian who has been backing Iran this whole time finally snapped - over the LNG crisis already unfolding in India.  Suddenly he went from staunch Iran defender to calling on Modi to sand warships and military gear to force Iran to open the Strait.  Along with calling for a blockade of any and all Iranian vessels traveling through the Strait of Malacca.[/quote]
