It’s like shelling, in a way - lasts long, many casualties, and eventually the country can’t be aggressive any more. But since a country that large has never been sanctioned before it remains to be seen how effective it is. Its regular citizens are sure to live a miserable life though. [/quote] True, except with Cuba, we cut deal where the nukes were removed. Nobody is removing Russias nukes. Could the Pope and/or Eastern Orthodox Patriarch help broker a peace deal?
