She didn’t marry a Catholic.  She married a guy who was vaguely non denominational Christian and they had a totally non denominational wedding.  He converted years later as part of what seems like a personality transplant thanks to Thiele.  Anyway, I think the people who tink he’ll ditch her for a lava robot are totally off base.  He seems smitten and I think he knows he totally married up.  It may be his one positive quality.  If they split. They are millennials who’ve only been married for less than a decade and she very clearly could not care less about her appearance around her husband. She puts no effort into being an attractive wife and her husband has about the highest profile job in the world. Not only a sexless marriage, the lack of effort almost seems like passive-aggressive contempt for him. They were groomed by Prof. Chua, who puts tremendous emphasis on physical appearance. The whole thing reeks of arranged marriage and IVF kids.[/quote]

If you were discussing a Democratic couple like this, you'd be pounced on by the LWNJs who would call you a total sexist - and they'd actually be right.  Why should she "dress for her husband"? What’s being discussed has nothing to do with politics. Anyone with eyes can tell when a husband and especially a wife appears checked out physically around their spouse. When you’re in love, you put effort into your appearance. Effort is attractive. Optics as a couple are important. These are two young rich lawyers with a high profile life, who haven’t been married that long. Constantly looking frumpy and checked out is a deliberate choice. If there ever was, there is apparently no spark left in this relationship. My takeaway is she hates the man she’s married to and passively aggressively wants the public to know it.[/quote]
